Learn How to Record Your Demo Vocals at Home

Many people I come across in the music industry always ask me, what do they need at home to record scratch vocals or demo vocals without having to pay money for a studio. I always tell them what they need, but then they always come back later to ask me how to use it. This site is a tutorial for singers and songwriters who want to learn the basics of how to record their own demo and practice vocals at home. All you need is a home computer, microphone, audio interface and recording software. In this tutorial, we use Logic Pro for our recording software. Keep in mind that this tutorial does not instruct you how to get your recording equipment up and running. With this tutorial, I am assuming that you already have all your equipment connected and operating. Either you had someone do it or you read the manual.
